今早上班路上在 KRTY 聽到了這首歌，
“What she called a Chevy was a sixty-six Corvette”
讓我忍不住仔細聽他究竟在唱些什麼。
在 880 上我認真地聽著他的歌詞，聽到最後覺得心都脹得滿滿的，是個動人的故事。
這也是我喜愛 country 的原因，我很喜歡聽故事。
下面的故事很好聽，歌也很好聽, enjoy (ps. 其實有一點點像鬼故事 XD)

And I felt a little guilty as I counted out the bills
But what a thrill I got
When I sat behind the wheel
I opened up the glovebox
And that’s when I found the note
The date was 1966 and this is what he wrote
分類廣告上一則賣二手老chevy的廣告，不知為何引起我注意
老太太說她不知道年份，甚至不知道它還跑不跑得動,但我手中剛好有一千塊
車子停在後面的穀倉，三十年來的灰塵積在舊軍布上
我把布掀起來，瞬間停止了呼吸。
那輛老太太以為是 chevy 的車，其實是台66年 corvette
當我把錢交給老太太時，其實心裡有點罪惡感
但我坐在方向盤後方感到一陣興奮
而當我打開手套盒，我在裡面找到了一張紙條，時間是1966年，寫著
He said my name is Private Andrew Malone
And if your readin’ this, then I didn’t make it home
But for every dream that’s shattered
Another one comes true
This car was once a dream of mine
Now it belongs to you
Though you may take her and make her your own

他名叫 Andrew Malone 是個軍人
如果你看到了這張紙條，表示我沒有回到家
但當一個夢被粉碎，另外一個夢將成真
這輛車曾是我的夢，現在她屬於你

The buttons on the radio didn’t seem to work quite right

A soldier ridin’ shotgun
In the seat right next to me
