Shark s1e11 The Wrath of Khan
Jan 9th, 2007 by Ashley
This episode was very worthy of a post. It’s an excellent example of an after-holiday-season come back.
It’s fast paced, with lots of twists and turns. We saw how sides are split within the realm of justice and every man holds his own righteousness. The episode gave us a taste of human lives vs. the big flag of national security. How do you value human lives? How many are worth saving and how many we can afford to sacrifice? Stark won, of course, but we can definitely say that Stark’s met his rival, who’s smart and outthought him. Once again we saw that if you didn’t realize what position you’re in, whether you’re disposable, often times you’d end up badly. All those pain and blood, and for what, I wondered.*
As I half-heartedly whispered “Casey don’t go”, the other pretty soul vanished out of the blue. I didn’t like him particularly; however, it’s still sad to see him leave. And I masked myself and mocked, salary issue again? You know I didn’t mean it.
ps. the title of this episode, The Wrath of Khan was taken from the 2nd movie of Star Trek series, which was often considered the best ST movie ever made.
*hint: Babylon5
