An hour is not enough
Apr 15th, 2005 by Ashley
Since I was in junior high, I deveoped an habit that I need music
when I'm working/studying. Because I'm easily distracted but at
the same time can't work in a total silent environment (which
suffocates me in the first place, and sometimes even manifest
the noise), music becomes an excellence shield between me and the
rest of the world. However, the selection of music is also very
important, but it'll be another issue.
I've been working here for over 6 months. The rookie is more
comfortable with her being here. Therefore, I brought the air I
breathe back to my life. Sometimes I'd turn on Launchcast;
however, the customation is not very effective (the ones I saved
as never play again still come out of no where, and it either
play the same songs over and over, or play songs that are not at
all the type I like.) Sometimes I'd turn to German online
braodcast; however, most of them play English songs most of the
time. I'd like to listen to German songs and hear them talk a bit
more. But as I tried to find stations feature more talking,
they often turn out to be news radio, which is too cold for me.
Lately I found a good station. They play classical music during my
working hour and there's a period of time, the hosts talk
beautifully. However, after 10:30 it's all gone. I look thru their
programme and realize that the shows I like are (9:30-10:00) Kultur
kompakt and (10:00-10:30) Lesezeit(i.e. reading time).
It's such an enjoyable hour!
