Download Festival

this Fall.

saw the poster at Projekt Revolution (notes coming up), and thought the lineup pretty decent. But when I checked this morning, I realized that there are only three bands I’ve ever heard: The Cure, A.F.I. and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Download Festival will take place in Boston, Washington State, Chicago and SF (Mountain View, to be precise.) Boston will have Modest Mouse, Guster, and Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. WA will have Incubus, Modest Mouse, The Presidents of the United States of America. Chicago will have The Shins, Snoop Dogg.

For $75, it’s not very exciting for me.

    PUSA was reformed sometime in 2000, but I’d say, good luck, though…
    I was thinking about going to the download festival, but the price is ridiculous and I don’t personally into these sort of “festival” thing.
    The lineup isn’t quite impressive, either. Even Formoza Festival got a better lineup than this one.
    They got Beck last year.

    Yeah. I’d rather go to a regular concert than a festival. I prefer indoor concerts and I like to be among hardcore fans rather than “I heard they’re famous let’s go check it out who the hell is HIM I don’t care about them just give me Linkin Park” kinda crowd.
