A Party for Time Travellers

I was reading this issue of the Economics. There's an article
in Science and Technology caught my eye:
A convention for time travellers (subtitle: A party that's never over).
It's said that student of MIT is holding a party for future time
travellers on May 7, provided that the news of this convention
survives thru time before time machine is realized.
