Dancing with the Stars s5e3 Tango + Jive
Oct 10th, 2007 by Ashley
This week, the women dominated.
First off, Jennie’s tango was AMAZING. It’s hot, it’s dramatic and it’s unbelievably engaging. Jane Seymour’s tango was great too. She beautifully weaved the sorrow of losing her mom into the dance and it was really a tear-jerking performance. Marie Osmond’s tango was nothing less of drama. It’s like watching a scene of a musical.
Cameron’s dance, like Carrie Ann said, was… clean for a tango. I like his Clark Kent/Superman approach. It wasn’t overacted. However, the music selection was awful. If they still don’t let them choose their own music, I must say the fault falls on… whoever chose that music.
The other dance of the night was Jive. I’ve always loved Jive. It’s so all-American, cheerleader like that it never crossed my mind that it’s a Latin dance. However, not one jive got my excited this week. I guess there’s still no comparison to Stacey Kibler’s Jive (see below).
I’ve been rooting for Mark Cuban ever since I found out his style of operating/promoting a club sports team. You know, I can’t help to compare him with our Roman. Tonight, I think it has reached to a limit. He’s just not good enough.
At last, I was gutted when Reed was eliminated last week instead of Wayne. It’s a difficult competition to stay in, but I think Wayne should go way ahead of Reed. Anyways, Wayne was eliminated this week. Whee~ (Sorry, Cheryl, you’re awesome and I believe any decent guy who partners with you will win the trophy eventually but that would not be fair for the others.)
and thanks to YouTube, now I’m able to share the dances with y’all. Enjoy away~
