Autumn Leaves

You can smell the Autumn in the air. Last night, rain washed down settling the agitation floating in the city. I opened the door and an enormous presence of freshness enwrapped me. It’s a mixture of trees, leaves, trail of rain on the ground and morning dew, a celebration of life.
I put on Diana Krall’s The Girl in the Other Room before going to sleep. Music flew in the room and I heard Almost Blue. Almost blue. Almost doing things we used to do. Almost me. Almost you. Almost blue.
And here’s something to get you into the mood. Some light and jazzy, some down right gloomy. They all fit the mercurial autumn state of mind.
