Why Taiwan Matters

I don&#039t usually read Business Week. In fact, I don&#039t read it at all.
But today as I wandered on 長輩 ijliao&#039s blog,
I came across his article about this article on BW.

It&#039s interesting how it valued Taiwan so much that I can&#039t help
but wondering if some Taiwanes wrote it. I&#039m not looking down upon
ourselves, but I can&#039t quite believe that it is actually that good,
that hopeful. (well, it&#039s absolutely true that “The Sun Yat-Sen
expressway is as bland as any U.S. interstate….the key 70-km
stretch starts in Taipei&#039s booming new Neihu district of
high-tech office buildings and ends in Hsinchu, home to
two of Taiwan&#039s best universities…” 11~
