The Sky is Blue
May 11th, 2005 by Ashley
It's strange that since I moved to California, I lost the ability
to appreciate the unlimited sky. The entire year when I was in
Buffalo, everytime I looked up at the sky I sighed and can't help
but praising how broad, how beautiful, how beyond imagination it
is. I never lost that feeling. I was never tired of the big blue
sky. Sometimes I would just stand in the middle of nowhere and
appreciate the sky. In the parking lot, in the campus, in front
of Creekside.
Yes, I still sometimes stop for a minute or two when I got out of
my car to gaze upon the sky when it's clear and the incredibly many
numbers of stars are shining. But the sky itself seems to lose it's
appeal to me. I wonder why. Is it becuz the sky is not the same
anymore? (Cuz there are mountains and taller buildings to block
some view?) Or is it becuz without the matching view(scenary)
around, it's just another city night curtain?
