What’s post-rock. I’ve been reading articles on post-rock board, and after finished a bunch of angry and funny articles, I finally got a vague idea.
post-rock is actually, well, let me quote wiki
using rock instrumentation for non-rock purposes, using guitars as facilitators of timbres and textures rather than riffs and powerchords.
I decide not to go further into Post-rock after I realized it’s sorta like breaking down rock music. I love Rock; I dont think I can endure that. But now as I listen to Mogwai, surely it’s different from any kind of rock music I know, it turned out to be quite refreshing somehow. I guess I won’t fall in love with thsi genre of music but I imagine it’d be a media when I need to shut myself. One said, it’s a kinda music with no vocal and makes you talk less evetually.
