I am Your Sunshine

I haven’t been faithful to TV this season. Ever since Gilmore Girls, a show which connected my days in NCTU and in UB, and Boston Legal, which basically defined my life in the Bay Area, got canceled, there’s no show that can claim my loyalty. True that I’m shamefully obsessed with The Secret Life* and The Starter Wife is my latest guilty pleasure (curiously both on cable network) and it’d be unfair to say I don’t enjoy the new shows, such as Life, Leverage (another cable show!), Chuck, The Mentalist, TBBT, Privileged and Trust Me. However, new shows come and go; the ones that stay have lost their elasticity (read: Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, House, Heroes), and the ones I like have their flaws:

Chuck: enough with the “we’re doing it for our country” big talk every episode.

The Mentalist: can’t really think of anything wrong with this one. XD But it’s the first season; I need time to build passion on fondness.

TBBT: I’ve been resisting it for so long, and it is really good. But one sitcom is not enough. Btw, I LOVE Sheldon. >////< Privileged: Megan, the main character, is very annoying. Trust Me: err... I only watched the pilot. ^^" Secret Life: Teenagers are stupid. I don't know why I cannot stop watching it. It's so soapy. T^T The Starter Wife: Don't know if they're going to continue it. No words up til now. I think it's my favorite show of late. Alas, I just wanna rekindle my passion for TV... *The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Is it necessary to have a title this long?
