Since I got back from Yellowstone, the weather here has been chilled. It’s like summer sneaked away while I was gone. It’s only September. It’s not yet time for Autumn! But every morning I hold on tight to my down comforter and don’t wanna get up. I guess I have to face the fact that the summer has left. How is it over there in Buffalo? The Buffalo summer in my memory is enjoyable and not that short. I bet you still have the warm air, cool breeze and beautiful sunshine. It’s supposed to be like that, isn’t it? You’ve got to have storng and vivid seasons! Energetic summer, poetic fall, serene winter and shy but lively spring.

我對我不認為是朋友的人是可以很無情的
跟一般人來往的客氣是一定有
但是對於自認是我朋友而厚著臉皮要我做些我只會對朋友做的事 (好曖昧XD)
我真是百般的不耐煩

我對”朋友”二字的定義是很嚴苛的
也不是說標準高到我只有小貓兩三隻朋友
但是對我來說”朋友”與”非朋友”是有清楚的界線的
我帶著些微的愧疚回某人的信
卻被逼著講我出去玩的心得我的看法
我呆呆地回到一半才覺得, 你是我的誰啊… 這麼理所當然地要我回答你的問題
(等等, 上面那句話有問題! “呆呆” 跟 “我” 這兩個詞怎麼會出現在同一個句子裡!)
還不是問說 啊好不好玩啊 感覺怎麼樣
而像是出幾個簡答申論題要我回答似的

馬上沒了愧疚了 哼
(但我還是回了兩三句話…)

被我推著拉著 到我沒有意想到過的地步
有點失衡 有點失措
不是不好 只是我不知道
然而話說回來 自從離開學校之後 我一直處在不知道未來要如何的不安中
我唯一可以確定 (但其實也不怎麼確定) 的是
我還要再去念一個碩士 我要回到學校這個環境
這變成我一直期待的目標 (該死, 是不是得再考一次 GRE…)
人生不應該是這樣的–
“等到我上了大學, 我就可以…”
“只要我出了社會, 我就可以…” (喔~ 這句決不是我說的, 我超愛當學生)

應該讓當下有它自己的意義, 而不是一個過渡期
然而我卻一直在等, 我把這段日子看作是必須忍耐度過的階段
為了達到某些並不一定是我自己想要的目的
反正我也還沒想到我究竟要拿我的人生怎麼辦
於是我就順著大家的意思走

扯遠了, 只是忽然覺得
我要的究竟是不是我要的, 到手了我又要拿來怎麼辦?
而我不要的真的是我不會喜歡的嗎?

如果人生只需要想東想西不需要做什麼就容易多了

(其實我也搞不清楚究竟是哪張, 反正就是我在廣播上聽到的, 以及後來弄到的Closer等)
歌詞很美 旋律容易入耳又不會太芭樂
於是我借了幾張他們之前的專輯來聽
96年的 Friction, Baby 還好, 感覺得出他們的風格
但 95 年的 Deluxe 就不是那麼欣賞了.
聽起來像一般的 rock band, 沒什麼特色, 歌詞也淺白沒有什麼讓人回味咀嚼的空間
