I am Your Sunshine

昨天從傍晚一睡不醒, 自然也沒有煮菜. 正在煩惱中午吃什麼好, 聽到隔壁的顧問說要去吃 In & Out, 害我也打起 In & Out 的主意, 畢竟, 一個禮拜已經過去, 我應該要接受身在美國的事實. 不過剛忽然想到, William 已經離開公司了, 現在沒有人會因為我帶了薯條回來而很開心 (好吧, Ellen 可能會.) 有種人事已非的感傷.

來接 William 位子的人看起來很成熟穩重, 也可能是因為我知道他之前是牧師的關係(!), 總之我不太可能問他要不要吃薯條.

The Mentalist might be the best new show of the season (among the ones I’ve watched.) It contains elements required for a successful show. It is well paced and good humored, and the camera gives enough clues to the viewers so that we don’t feel fooled when the unsuspected killer is revealed.

Privileged is cute (Megan is not, unfortunately), and as long as it doesn’t go toward the everyone-sleeping-with-everyone lane, I’ll be happy to keep watching Megan trying to lead the girls on the path to Duke.

As for Kath and Kim, I just can’t resist Selma Blair. I’m such a big fan of her. However, K & K needs to set its tone before people got tired of their nonsense.

I liked the idea of the Ex List. However, it screams one-season show for me if not shorter. I mean, she had to run out of ex’s before we’re tired of it, and what’s next? Casting is pretty good except for the leading role. Megan from Privileged looks wonderfully adorable comparing to her. Geez. The guys are yummy. Can’t complain about it.

I only watched the first ep of Fringe and I decided it’s not my cup of tea.

本季沒有特別讓我喜歡的人, 最有名的大概是 Toni Braxton, 還有 N’Sync 的 Lance Bass (我討厭 N’Sync 主要就是因為他 XD) 但也許只是因為每個人都認識的不夠久, 加上太充數的濫竽還沒被淘汰掉, 因此常讓我看得興致缺缺 (還好有Tivo快轉.) 回想以往, 好像除非有很搶眼的人, 我通常也是在第四五周才會對參賽者建立起感情.

本周跳的是我很愛的 Jive 與浪漫的 Viennese Waltz. 不斷地快轉暫停之間, 沒想到竟被前美式足球員 Warren Sapp 的Viennese Waltz 感動到了. 我很驚訝那麼一個大塊頭, 又不是演員出身的他, 竟然能把一支舞跳得如此如夢似幻, 實在是不可思議. 我也很感激他們在第三周就端上如此讓我目不轉睛的表演, 不然我真的快無聊死了.

另外一個想提的是, 我以前很喜歡 Cheryl Burke, 因為除了技巧之外, 我很注重每個參賽者的 personality. Cheryl 在前幾季實在是非常甜美有耐心. 不過自從我看到某一集 What The Buck 在閒聊 DWST, Buck 用 “覺得自己才是celebrity 的那個 professional” 來形容 Cheryl, 加上這兩季看下來的感覺, 我真的覺得她的個性有變, 有越來越目中無人易怒的趨勢. 反而是 Karina 在跟 Mario 談了個無疾而終的戀愛之後, 越來越可愛了. 不過剛剛我不小心發現有人把 Cheryl 跟 Derek Hough 湊在一起, 我才發現原來 Cheryl 跟 Derek 年紀差不多啊. 我一直以為 Derek 才二十出頭而 Cheryl 應該有三十了… 這也難怪. 我一向覺得年輕人心性不定, 很容易受名氣財富影響性格.

as we grow older and supposedly wiser, we tried not to get into things that are unnecessary for us to get into. Staying away from nasty love triangles; keeping our mouth shut when seeing friends stumble. Our top priority is making sure we’re safe and maybe gossiping over tea about how Adrianne should not have flirted with Miles while being very much engaged to Jake.

It seems cruel and selfish. But help is often unwanted and, honestly, not required. You’d never know. Thing might be less messed up if we stay out of it.

However, when everything is diminished to a mere conversation item, where do love and friendship and warm support stand?

I’m ******* out of courtesy and now the whole wide worlds knows.

我想變成藍色的怪東西

頭還很暈, 耳邊一直有奇怪的音樂.

沒有退路是很讓人驚慌, 但若一定要有退路才走下一步, 那可能什麼事都不用做了

台灣的日本料理店很多, 尤其是日式燒烤. 我不懂為啥北加只有韓國烤肉店卻沒有日式燒烤, 只好每次回台灣多吃幾次. 近幾年來居酒屋文化也傳進台灣了, 上次total就帶我去一家很不賴的居酒屋. 但. 是…. 台灣的清酒可以賣得再貴一點啊. 這樣是叫人家怎麼點得下手啊… 上次去安和路上那家忘記叫什麼名字的居酒屋, 因為兩人不餓, 所以只點了幾樣簡單的tapas, 酒大概點了三四瓶吧 (很小瓶的… 日本超市冷藏櫃裡會賣的那種.) 結果光是酒錢就花了一人近三千吧. 開什玩笑, 這價錢我可以買大瓶的純米大吟釀耶! 然後剛剛看人家的居酒屋食記, 說上善如水要價NTD2000, 讓我實在很卻步啊.

那就…. 吃(喝)一次就好了!

零散, 拼湊. 消費第一集建立起的期待.

不過光是看 Amber Tamblyn 就值回票價了. 至於 Alexis Bledel 仍是非常 Rory, 我無法看出她有什麼突破. 連在 Sin City 裡都是同一個樣了. Blake Lively 感覺還是不太會演戲. America Ferrera 就是 America Ferrera.

另外, Lucy Hale 也很可愛.

Death Race (2008)

原來這片是老片重拍. 原片是 1975 年的 Death Race 2000, 主角由 David Carradine 飾演, 而主要的配角之一是 Sylvester Stallone. XD

Death Race 設定在 2012 年, 電影一開始簡單介紹了為什麼會有 Death Race 的存在, 我很喜歡這個構想. 但這片並不像我在 review 裡面聽到的 “十分鐘講故事然後馬上進入動作.” 我覺得他故事講得不算太短. 不過裡面幾個賽車中的橋段我都還蠻喜歡的.

Jason Statham 在電影裡幾乎沒什麼表現, 非常呆板. 聽說 London 很好看, 有空要找來看看. 另外, 他列在 imdb 的三部新片, 怎麼都是續集啊… orz

平平都是 Gala, 竟然差那麼多. Q_Q

選角不是很喜歡 (除了雙胞胎姐妹之外), 有些演員的演技差強人意, 不過都還在可接受的範圍內. 影集一開始的對話讓我誤以為這又是一部賣女性口白的影集, 還想說為什麼她會用講的啊… 這種一般不是內心戲嗎? 原來她是在跟朋友講話. 還蠻好笑的. 感覺像在諷刺 Grey’s Anatomy, Sex and the City 等劇.

劇中邪惡的雙胞胎妹妹 Rose Baker 是由 Lucy Hale 演出, 她這次的角色比在 Bionic Woman 裡面可愛多了.
