Marie has a fun and energetic Quick Step, very entertaining! Her cha cha cha was HOT and her lines were very beautiful.

Jennie’s Vienesse Waltz is unearthly BEAUTIFUL and her Rumba was sensual. Both dances flew lovely.

Mel B’s Paso Doble was …. indescribable. It’s completely AMAZING.

Cameron’s Jive was really good. Haven’t seen a jive I like for a while!

昨天回到家看到阿岑跟琪上線, 剛好琪才在板上唉說想我, 就抓了她們兩來聊天. 我們這群最棒的就是, 無論何時何地碰到, 不用暖身客套, 就可以直接講想要講的大事小事心事垃圾事. 不管多久沒連絡了, 即使我們分散在世界各角落 (我在北美, 嘉伶在澳洲, 琪跟瑋在台北, 阿岑全世界到處跑), 聚在一起感覺還是一樣! 最喜歡你們了 (心)

After watching the show for the first time last week, I decided to be their faithful. I especially look forward to the show this week cos, you know, our 6-0 win over Man City. It’d be a good talk.

As the show started, Nick said, “…welcome Keith to sit in for Steven…” and Steve continued, “Yeah, all those Chelsea tuned in to hear what Steven would say about the 6-0 win but instead they got an Irish Liverpool fan. Priceless.” Grrr….

But apart from that, I do agree with him on “should the Premier league should come to the States?” poll.

我真是超在意逾不逾矩這種事. 儘管大部份我所在意的東西對一般人來說根本沒有逾不逾矩的差別.

今年感恩節沒啥計畫, 其實要我待在家我一點也不會介意, 還覺得舒服的很. 結果 chun 對我說, “yea, you are fine with your ball game and internet and books and movies. you can live on an island with those things!” >//////< 不過為了不辜負眾多朋友的期待, 我決定來計畫點東西, 能不能成行就再看看吧. 不過這麼晚計劃就是要有被坑錢的心理準備, 早知道今年回不了台灣, 我就早早訂好回布法羅的機票了! 可以趁 Nelson 被外派到印度之前再見他們coupl 一面 (畢業之後就沒見過了說), 還有 Moni 跟又回布法羅念書的竹君. Alas, vorbei ist vorbei. 去年在 Sonoma County 住了幾次, 一直很想要租一此海邊的 vacation rental, Occidental, Bodega Bay 跟 Jenner 感覺都很不錯. 不過上次提議大家都覺得我瘋了, 冬天去海邊應該冷死了吧! 但是但是... 找個有 hot tub 的 rental, 還可以在海邊看夕陽耶! 來吧來吧~ 想到就很開心.

這場比賽完全沒轉播, 只有稍晚會在 Chelsea TV 重播. 沒想到看文轉也能那麼刺激, 本來還在看瓦倫皇馬戰的, 最後二十分鐘都在專心看文轉了. 上半場 2-1 結束 (狐狸隊 6′ 率先得分, Lamps 很快的在 20′ 追平 29′ 將比分超前), 沒想到下半場一開始, Ferreira 就重傷下場 (serious injury ><) 換上 Malouda (我們沒有左後衛了啊!!!) 結果在 69' 被追平 75' 被反超, 這時大家 (看文轉的球迷們) 開始慌了, 有人怪起庫哥, 有人開始擔心我們的主場不敗紀錄 (其實主場不敗紀錄只有算聯賽), 有人說幹嘛還留 Sheva 在場上... 沒想到! Sheva 在 87' 追平比分, Lamps 又給狐狸隊來個戴帽補時絕殺! 真是有夠戲劇性. 這場比賽結束後, 我終於可以高興地宣布... Chelsea 十月六場比賽全勝! Hooray! Serie A

以前從不過 Halloween, 去年有人來我家要糖, 我還關燈假裝沒人在 (害我得摸黑看電視!) 上禮拜 Flora 跟 Susan 邀我去馬克家辦的 Party (不認識兩個主人, 來的客人倒是都認識 XD), 雖然我比較想宅在家, 但最終還是出門了…

陳強尼亂給 direction 害我迷了半天路, 好不容易找到馬克家的社區, 就看到死神, 文藝復興小公主, 還有兩個不知道是扮成什麼的人 (結果是沒有胸毛的貓王跟放屁袋) 在停車場迎接我.

吃吃喝喝之後, 就是今天的重頭戲, 刻南瓜!
陳強尼買了兩顆形狀可疑的南瓜, 而主人馬克幫大家準備了刻南瓜工具組 (包括樣本書). 我們用撲克牌分組, 我這組成員包括 Susan, Mark 以及 Yo, 另外一組是醫生護士兩人組跟死神 Michael. 我們這組 black jack(就是二十一點)輸給他們, 所以分配到長臉南瓜. 接下來… 一連串的心機戰就開始了!

為了不讓對方竊取我們的”創意”, 我們從客廳桌子移師到馬克的… 浴室裡. 翻遍了樣本書沒選到喜歡的樣式, 但因兩個屋主都在我們這隊, 我們有主場優勢 – Internet + 印表機!

我們挑了一個飄飄鬼的圖案, 又決定在另一面刻 Happy Halloween 以及蝙蝠當裝飾!

刻完之後都已經十一點多了, 好不容易才找到兩個在別家 apartment party 的路人來給我們評分 (路人一看到我跟 Susan 就說 “I know you are a soccer player; but what princess are you?” 好感動~ 有人看得出我的打扮 T^T) 結果我們這組的南瓜獲得壓倒性大勝! 所以輸的那組就變成這樣…

最後我們玩了幾輪超級比一比 (陳強尼竟然有音樂! 太厲害了!) 還有殺手遊戲, 兩點多才回家 orz

A while back I was listening to Sonic Youth’s latest album. Today w asked, “is that Sonic Youth on your sleeve?” after seeing my classic Halloween costume (i.e. my hair down in front) photo. And that’s the first time I learned that I’ve met Sonic Youth before I met them.

I rarely pay attention whatever it’s printed on T-shirts or jackets that (usually) doesn’t mean to mean anything. But apparently, this one does. (Probably because it’s made in Hong Kong.)

On the right sleeve, it reads,

(what a bargain!)

On the left, it’s a huge purple SONIC YOUTH logo.

[updated] 震央應該在我家附近 (Alum Rock, NNE 5 miles 處) 規模 5.6
剛剛八點出頭時忽然地震, 東搖西晃了大概有二十秒, 當下有點驚慌.
好像很丟臉, 我這一點也不像身經百戰的台灣人啊! XD

但我驚慌是有原因的! 一來我總覺得加州平常不地震, 一震一定會是很嚴重那種. 二來我覺得美國的房子蓋得很不堅固, 而且我完全沒概念在美國房子裡地震時靠哪站比較好. 同樣等級的地震若是在台灣我應該不動如山地繼續打b看電視吧!

地震時我正一邊看著 Fox Football Fone-In 一邊寫心得, 驚慌之前我的第一個念頭是, 可惡, 不要打擾我看電視啊! 後來地上的酒瓶子(!?)不停晃動, 害我開始擔心我們在架上堆的一堆雜物會不會飛下來. 還好那些箱子都穩穩地坐著不動, 倒是我的房間地板變得亂七八糟了! (完全是牽拖)

[EPL] Chelsea 6-0 Man City
太. 歡. 樂. 了.

賽前其實很擔心. 本賽季手機人帶領的曼城好像很強. 十場比賽七勝一平兩敗, 目前聯賽排名第三. 即使我們之前贏了瓦倫贏了Bolton贏了米堡贏了Schalke, 對於藍軍能夠有什麼表現我們還是有點不確定. (Skysports 的賽前預測 45% Man City win, 43% Chelsea win 2% draw) 沒想到切爾西給我們如此賞心悅目的表現. 行雲流水的進攻, 精準的傳球, 貝萊帝跟費拉拉不時從兩邊壓上, 九十分鐘看下來真是心 曠 神 怡. 十分鐘的 Match of the Day 每次重看每次 high.

痛快拿三分, 淨勝球數大補! 另外名次也一下從第七躍升到第四, 超開心! =D

*上一次藍軍 6-0 的比賽是 97 年八月, 超過十年了呢!

[Seriea A] Genos 0-0 Fiorentina
繼周四奮戰 Villareal 之後, Viola 面對的是強悍的升班馬 Genoa.

相較於略顯疲態紫百合, Genoa 各個球員都看起來像精力過盛的過動兒, 在身體上很有侵略性, 讓我想到去年切爾西作客雷丁那場比賽. 對方頻頻犯規, 緊迫的壓上讓 Viola 拿不住球. 整場比賽 Viola 佔劣勢, 很少看到 Viola 踢得那麼狼狽. 完全看不出有 magical one-touch football 的樣子. 也許是三線作戰太累了…

As I was thinking about giving it up, Journeyman brought us the Legend of Dylan McCleen. This episode has a good balance on the case and Dan’s personal life. The case is intense and intriguing. It seemed that they finally came up with a recipe for success. The only thing I wasn’t happy with is that Dan didn’t turn in an exciting and heartfelt story for the paper. What a waste.

新手機到手兩周, 都還沒有好好的玩它. 只有隨手剪了幾個鈴聲. AT&T branded 的 OS 只接受 600K 的檔案, 有些歌實在不好剪.

剪了幾首我很喜歡的德文歌, 包括甜甜的 Annett Louisan, 活潑的 Die Ärzte 唱 hip hip hurra, Echt 濫情的 Wo bist du jetzt (非常lame的歌詞, 但因為是德文就比較沒關係), Nina 滿腔熱情的 irgendwo, 歌詞很好笑的 Rammstein 的 Du hast (整首歌一直 Du, Du hast, Du hast mich.)

另外還有 Eagle Eye Cherry 的 Save Tonight, 國中就很愛這首歌. DBS 的 Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Busted 的 Psycho Girl 是 Flora 跟 Kedi 的專屬鈴聲 (she’s my psycho girl, my psycho girlfriend, everything i say, she takes it the wrong way. she’s my psycho girl, my living nightmare, she’s everything I need, but I can’t stand her.) Cake 的 Never There 是給一般來說不想接的號碼(on the phone, long long distance, always through such strong resistance,… never there, you’re never there. you’re never ever ever never there), 舊的手機是用 Cake 的 No Phone(no phone, no phone, I just wanna be alone today. No phone, no phone.) Cake 的 Perhaps, R.E.M. 的 Bad Day 以及 Hoobastank 的 Out of Control 目前都還沒有用. (如果在很安靜的地方響起 Out of Control 一定很好玩 XD) 最後, 沒有自訂鈴聲的號碼打來會是 UCL 的主題曲, 非常帥氣. 簡訊是 4400 的主題曲! =D

本來不想剪太多太柔的鈴聲, 怕到時根本聽不到, 結果發現我的鈴聲好像都太吵了…

Sabrina – Foxtrot
It was definitely too strong for a foxtrot but it has its tender moments and it’s no doubt a very very entertaining performance. I love it.

Jennie – Mambo
Fun!!! Great choreography! (Gotta say the Hough family’s got talent.)

Jane – Jive
I love Jane, but I agree with the judges… Jive is not her dance.

I’m not as impressed as I was last week. Guess the hectic schedule really got to them. I hope Jane, Jennie, Cameron and Mel B will stay. (Darn, I forgot to vote.) Looking forward to their next performance.

噹噹! Ellen Greene 果然也開口唱歌了. 她跟 Kristin Chenoweth 在追著小鴿前往風車的路上合唱 They Might Be Giants 的 Birdhouse in Your Soul. 之前聽了 They Might Be Giants 的九五年專輯 Flood 就打算寫一篇心得, 但因懶病發作而作罷. 沒想到會從 Greene 與 Chenoweth 的口中聽到, 被她們一唱這首歌又更加可愛.

看來歐洲那邊的日光節約時間這周日調回來. (難怪我看明天比賽的轉播時間怎麼看怎麼不對)

美國從今年開始延長日光節約時間的長度, 原本是十月的最後一個周日調回正常時間, 改成十一月的第一個周日, 比歐洲多了四周. 所以我今年有四個禮拜可以晚一個小時看比賽! (結果兩場比賽在今天, 沒賺到. 明天 Viola 的比賽是中午, 根本沒差… XD)
