The Killers 已經紅了好一陣子, 雖然覺得 When You Were Young 還蠻好聽的, 歌詞也夠詭異. 但只有主打歌好聽的團比比皆是, 因為我也沒費神去試試他們的音樂. 直到最近在廣播上, 無論是車上聽 Alice, Channel 1049 或是在網路上聽 Virgin UK, 三番兩次我聽到好聽的歌, 一查之下都是 The Killers, 終於挑起我對這個團的好奇.

Killers 的歌總有幾句讓你眼睛一亮或是”這什麼鬼啊!”的歌詞, 一開始是 “Somebody told me, you have a boyfriend who looks like a girlfriend that I had last year” 然後又有 “He doesnt look a thing like Jesus, but he talks like a gentleman, like you imagined when you were young”

是 Read My Mind 讓我愛上的, Brandon Flowers 飄渺味道的嗓音為這個歌多添加了想像, The stars are blazing like rebel diamonds cut out of the sun When you read my mind…

真是精彩的球賽, 就差藍軍這邊多進幾球了. 整場球賽都看得我目不轉睛, 深怕錯過什麼.
不過我想, 看過英格蘭球賽之後, 再也不會覺得什麼球賽無聊了!

零散感想:
換人的時候我好想念 Robben!
看到小喬上來雖然很開心, 但又有點害怕, 畢竟他傷了四個月, 第一場比賽就打那麼重要的, 實在有點擔心. 小賴特上來就更不用說了… 老大你到底在想什麼, 我不要小賴特姑娘啊…

LP 浪費了好多機會, 今天 Ballack 真的表現好多了!

Valencia 好會拖時間, 那個誰拐著拐著跳到邊線, 再差一步就出去了, 硬是要在場內坐下.

鏡頭竟然兩次帶到老大的戰術板, 可以這樣的嗎… (被偷看走怎麼辦! XD)

場上氣氛還不錯, 沒有很散慢, 被進球之後也沒有變得很急躁. 但是攻勢並沒有很犀利, 又中柱又被擋掉的, 只好抱平. 下周要在客場發威啊!

A very touching episode, if you have a passion for football.
I watched it with tears in my eyes. The true football spirit; it is watching matches with your fellow supporters; it is enjoying a game shouting healthy rant with the opposed fan. It is to love your team when your team plays like crap, when your own winger acts if he’s a defender on the other side, even when your gaffer is a wenger wanker.

Sometimes people go from passionate to extreme and it’s never a good thing. You tend to lose focus and forget what’s really important.

Sam Tyler: You know nothing about football! I used to go to football with my dad. United and City fans used to walk to the match together. Our next door neighbour, he had a City flag up in his window. Kids used to play together in the street – red and blue. But then people like you came along and you took it away from us.

Peter Bond: A good punch up’s all part of the game! It’s about pride. Pride in your team. Being the best!

Sam Tyler: No it isn’t! This is how it starts and then it escalates. It gets on the telly and in the press, and then other fans from other clubs start trying to out do each other. And then it becomes about hate! And then it’s nothing to do with football any more! It’s about gangs and scumbags like you roaming the country seeing who can cause the most trouble. And then we overreact, and we have to put up perimeter fences and we treat the fans like animals! Forty, fifty thousand people herded into pens! And then how long before something happens, eh? How long before something terrible happens and we are dragging bodies out?

好不容易又有球賽了, (國家隊實在沒那麼好看) 結果我卻連續兩個禮拜不能看 >< [updated] 還好我沒有留在家看, 本來是有考慮的. 但一來今天的活動很早就答應人家了, 二來我想對戰弱隊 Watford 大概也沒啥意思, 大概就球賽一面倒狂灌球吧. 結果球賽是一面倒沒錯, 但卻不是倒向我們這邊. 前週國家隊滿滿的賽程回家之後傷兵名單又多添幾個大將的名字, 上半場聽說令人看得心驚膽跳, 但大家總是會安慰自己, 畢竟我們是"下半場球隊" 沒想到下半場繼續不振, 一直到加時第二分鐘時小將 Kalou 頭槌入網為 Chelsea 搶下三分. 如果我待在家的話應該會很怨, 不過話說回來, 搞不好我有看球賽的話會拿個傳統比分呢! 可是我都已經有穿球衣出門了說... 歐冠好好加油吧!

Heard this on the radio. At first, I didn’t think it would be good. The beginning sounded so lame, but then as the song went along, I realized what it’s about. I sat in my car and smirked. Guess it’s many girls’ biggest nightmare.

So one day we were in the car and it started to play this song and everyone except me declared how much they love the song. I couldn’t help but laughed. They wondered why. Apparently, they have never listened to the lyrics carefully. XD So I told them the “story” behind the song. No, not behind, it’s actually right there in the song. A guy got a call in the middle of the night from his ex and he told her that he had to whisper because his current gf was in the next room, and he continued to say something like… sometimes I wish that she’s you, I think we’ve never move on, you voice makes me weak and you make it hard to be faithful and so on and so forth. They’re like, EW!!! scumbag! jerk! asshole! and so on and so forth. And we played the song again. Chun said that I ruined the song for her. My bad… :p
but seriously, scumbags like him oughtta make known, right?

今天被人弄得神經緊張又很不爽, 即使他是我傾心已久的(老)帥哥也是一樣討厭!

Anyways…

單看海報就足以讓我們對 Town & Country 抱持高期待. 然而, Warren Beatty, Charlton Heston, Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn, Andie MacDowell, Garry Shandling, Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg), Josh Hartnett 齊聚一堂, 呈現給我們的卻是一部什麼都要沾一下碰一點找不到自己定位的電影. 實在是非常可惜.

把電影拆成片片看倒是有許多不錯的地方, 像是 Goldie Hawn 與 Warren Beatty 在別墅中的場景, 很老套, 但老套的東西就是有它會成為老套的原因, 非常唯美. 而在 Andie MacDowell 她們家又有黑色喜劇的感覺. 電影中每個女人幾乎都可以拿來當成一個獨立的故事來講, 把她們通通東剪西漏地拿來湊成一部電影, 不僅角色刻畫不夠深刻, 整部電影的風格也太支離破碎了. 配樂倒是還不錯.

最後, 我發現我越來越受不了 Diane Keaton. 本來對她還頗有好感, 但最近漸漸發現她的表演總是如出一轍, 同樣的故作鎮定, 千篇一律的爆發, 看多了實在很膩.

Heard this song again on Channel 1049 this morning. It was still powerful even though the music was not aggressive or loud or whatever, it’s the quiet kind of powerful. It’s sometimes like that, isn’t it? Words that come out mildly are the ones shatter you. Turning and walking away beats the crap outta you more than a slap on your face. And something serene on the surface always have something huge hidden underneath that will shake your world.

本周有場 Andorra v England, 就在今天.
也許是因為上周英格蘭比賽太無聊, 這場都沒有人要播,
英格蘭, 慘兮兮 XD
(大家快回來吧! 還是 Chelsea 好!)

話說同組的 Israel v Estonia 4-0 結束比賽, Chelsea 小將 Sahar 貢獻了下半場 77 與 80 分鐘的進球!

另外同日的 Italy v Scotland 應該也是場不錯看的比賽. :)
比賽第 12 分鐘 Toni 就進了一個我很懷念的頭球, 好希望 Terry 能趕快發威, 我想念他的頭球英姿.

一邊吃飯一邊看一下球, 結果正在轉台想說支持一下 England 好了, Gerrard 進了一球, Toni 又進了一球, SopCast buffer 中, 兩球都沒看到 囧. 後來聽說 Gerrard 又進一球, 這下可好, 棄藍保傑派又有東西可以大作文章了.

決定再轉台看 Spain v Iceland, 看 Gudjohnsen :D
正暗自埋怨雨太大了都看不到 Eidur 時, 西班牙某球員把他撞到, 鏡頭就拍到 Gudjohnsen 站起來扭乾褲子的畫面!

這根本就是天意.

早上打開瀏覽器要去 Dell 訂東西, 打了 de 很順手就按 enter, 因為平時做公事是用 ie, 而 ie 裡面 de 開頭的就只有 dell. 卻忘記我今天是用 firefox (我快被 ie7 搞瘋了) 做做別的事切換回來要開始下訂單時才發現有個很面熟的人在看著我 – 這這…不是德國隊教練嗎? 他怎麼幫 Dell 打廣告去了. 仔細一看, 原來我開的是 Deutsche Welle.

Joachim Löw, 有時被人暱稱 Jogi, 有時 J Lo (XD), 是目前德國國家隊教練, 踢中場起家, 在七個球隊執教過, 04-06年在德國國家隊擔任助理教練, 在去年從 Jürgen Klinsmann 手中接下德國隊教練一職.

我是在上周的德國對捷克比賽中注意到他的, 整場鏡頭只帶到他幾次, 但那短短幾秒就足以讓我印象深刻, 好個氣質非凡的男人. 曾看過一篇文章拿 Jogi 跟 Mourinho 比較, 成長背景, 野心, 以及長相. 不過單就長相而言 Mourinho 還是比較帥, 開玩笑, 穆帥可是足球界的 Rupert Everett 耶! 但是氣質還是 Jogi 略勝一籌, 我想是因為 Mourinho 常蹦蹦跳跳的關係.

英格蘭的球迷們還在希望 Croatia 輸掉今天的比賽 (這場竟然都沒有轉播, 可惡)
還好 Srna 在 ’61 進了一球, 最後又反超, 繼續保持 E 組領先地位.

Czech v Germany 分別有 Cech & Ballack.
別看最後 Czech 以 1-2 輸給 Germany, Cech 可是漂亮地救了好幾球呢!

You know I’ve been watching The Class lately since I found out that it’s Lizzy Caplan’s new show on CBS. But then I totally fell in love with Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Richie in The Class, even though he has a disagreeable last name (hint: the manager of Man Utd?) Not so much the character he portrayed in the show but the actor himself. He’s so talented and apparently many watched the shoe just because of him (okay, and Lizzy Caplan.) And he can sing too. He was in the original cast of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Leaf Coneybear.

He is just wonderful!

書板在討論用什麼東西當書籤, 讓我想到了大學時發生的一件事.

我有一些書籤, 有 DK 大老遠從台灣寄的幾個可愛書籤, 架上也放著中山出的金屬書籤, 但都很少拿來用, 一方面是想要用書籤時它們不見得在隨手可及之處, 另一方面我有大量的書是從圖書館借來的, 我可不希望書籤是這樣消耗掉的. 今年來我的書籤大多都是衣服的標牌, 我愛用的有幾個, 像是 Forever21, Urban Outfitters, Guess 都會有些質感還不錯的紙板標牌, 如果是飛機書的話那一定是拿登機證當書籤.

大一的時候發現浩然有一整套光復出版社出的珍本名著, 裡面有我從小就愛看的 Ivanhoe, 我當然是開開心心地借回來看, 然而大一忙著玩, 沒有看完就還回去了. 直到大三又把它借出來, 翻著翻著, 一張薄薄的紅色收據掉了出來, 我還正覺得收據上寫的寢室號碼很眼熟時, 發現這不就是我大一組電腦的收據嗎! 虧我那時還找了好久…

(忽然覺得自己像一直說著重複的故事的老奶奶, 這件事我一定寫在哪裡過.)
