2×9 Galileo

之前因為圖書館只有第一季的 DVD
所以第二季之後就看畫質較差的版本
結果因為是在硬碟裡, 所以就常常懶得看
到現在進度都還只是 s2e6 *
(人家總統任期都要滿了說 XD)
最近發現這邊的圖書館有 WW DVD 到第四季的樣子
我就當機立斷借了回來!
因為一季二十幾集, 我猜一定有人在預約所以不能 renew
一週內要看完似乎有點勉強
但是…我還是從第一集開始看
第一集看到一半我就覺得我做了正確的決定
The West Wing 真的是拍得非常好的影集
講著嚴肅的故事, 其中也不乏輕鬆有趣讓你會心一笑的段落
尤其第二季第一集由總統一行人遭槍擊做為開頭
一邊穿插著當初 Bartlet 正要參加黨內初選的時候
他的那些左右手是如何聚集起來的

非常非常好看

現在每個禮拜最期待的就是星期天晚上半個小時的 Coupling 了

看膩了比較刻意的美國影集 (其實還是很愛看啦)

英國情境喜劇就顯得清新有趣

Sitcom還是要每天都播才夠啊!!!

好好看啊 :~

當初看 Hostage 時看到預告就覺得很棒

全部都是黑與白, 偶爾才有色彩出現

有點復古又有點不現實 讓我想起了 Sky Captain

回家之後查了一下 Sin City在演什麼

大概了解了劇情 (我沒有研究深入啦, 不想破壞看電影的感覺)

然後又不小心看到一位白目一直在批評 Sin city

說什麼 Sin City 是 the worst movie ever

然而她能提出的理由也只是她被誤導

以為 Sin City 是另一部像 Spy Kid 的電影 XD

這也太扯了吧大姊, 您是小學沒畢業嗎?

anyway, 那個討論串看下來,

讓我對 Sin City 裡面可能有的暴力鏡頭做了點心裡準備

不過看完整部電影我都覺得還好

講暴力血腥我到還覺得 Hostage 讓我比較不舒服

大概是因為 Sin City 是漫畫改編的電影

我從頭到尾都把它當漫畫看待

所以也不覺得怎樣吧

總之我已經好久沒看那麼過癮的電影囉!

昨天去買 UPS 時順便晃了一下
雖然之前稍微研究過 +-R什麼什麼的
不過早就忘光了
看了一圈的心得只有:
還是覺得 SONY 的東西真是漂亮
可是 SONY 都硬生生地比別人家貴幾十塊啊 :~

然後剛剛看了一篇文章
說 DVD 燒錄還是 Plextor 最好
ㄟ…我怎麼記得 Plextor還是比 SONY便宜
那是不是應該買 Plextor 的?

看完第一集 Dorothy Sayers 的 Strong Poison
還有一點點 Swordfish
不小心轉到 ABC 才想到今天 10:00 有 Alias
無事可做, 就將就看一下吧

一大批人馬看起來就很不俐落
忽然冒出來的人, 感覺不是假冒好人的壞人就是一下就會掛掉的龍套角色
果然在片頭出來的前一刻就一箭穿心
唯一唯一讓我覺得值得一看的只有 spy mom

不過看了一陣子之後就越看越有意思了

現在覺得英國的東西很好看
非常著迷每個禮拜天晚上半小時的 coupling
真希望他們能多播一點英國的影集~

The music playing in UK is quite different from what we have in the States. I don’t have to listen to the same hit songs all the time. Sometimes you really get tired of it. Whichever radio station you turn to is playing the same song. It’s nice being able to change a flavor.

不過, 真正的強者是越強越謙虛的.

I’ve been studied cars since I was in high school (but don’t be mistaken, I’m never an expert. I just enjoy knowing them and watching the beauty of them.) Lamborghini was once my fav, and I also appreciate 3000 GT, which was Machy’s fav.

However, I never really fall in love with a car until the summer I met Focus. It’s like thunder meets ground fire. (Ok, I’m exaggerating.) I noticed it on the street. I think it’s the third time I saw a Focus that I decided it’s the car of my dream. Blue Focus is elegant and energetic, and the black one is classy and mysterious. And don’t forget its beautiful butt! When I first came to the States, I had a chance to get one but I didn’t due to several practical reasons. But I’ve never forgotten my Focus. Now I’m making money. I’m seriously considering getting one. But I know… it seems irrational to replace Camry for Focus. Camry is no doubt the better car, but I can never love my Camry as I will love my Focus…..

You don’t know you’re actually breaking my heart when you said you’re considering buying a Focus.

Today I reviewed gogogo.
many articles were gone. the articles that were the point of the board at the very begining. I believe it was Taipei trip. c and x and I plan it. I still remember that we went over to Dorm13 to discuss. It was so much fun that summer. can’t believe it’s been…4 years!? 4 years is the time one finishes college. how can it have already been 4 years?

yesterday natro msn me becuz he couldn’t sleep and was reading am92. he said that he doesn’t remember many things happened back then, and he said he wouldn’t wanna go back and stay at that time as I do, making money and being financially independent is more important for him.

These days I try to keep myself away from the “old records” whether it’s my board (actually there’s not many things going on on my board anyway), Fars, am92 or any places that hold too many memories than I can bear.

As I read thru gogogo today, I was puzzled why I didn’t go with them to see the fire bug. I also read the whole series of koun yao, I realized that it’s actually almost the last activities we have together. Now when I think of it… is there any possibilities that we can have such fun now or in the future? I doubt. Yes, we can still get together and go to places like we did last winter, but it’s becuz I only went back once a year. If not, would we ever do that? Sometimes we might think there will always be a chance to do this and do that… and at the end we didn’t do anything. Like the folks live around Buffalo might be the last people to see Niagara Falls, isn;t it? And as we grow older, we tend to become more and more busy….
busy is such a deadly word.

I was watching XXX (for the third time :p) last night, and the thought came to my mind: is it really that action stars can’t talk properly? See our great (sarcastic) governer Arnold for example, my fav Silvester, too, I don’t remember Steven cuz I dont like him or hate him. Keanu can’t speak either, and now Van… I can’t help but wonder if they train their muscle and accidentally fatten their tongue. Anyway, there must be a reason for this!

Today there’s NBC’s new TV movie Hercules on TV, I was debating whether I should watch it or not, cuz Kevin (S-something) will always be the Hercules! And then I realized, Kevin (Hercules) can speak very fluently! He controdict the theory ._.

I’m being let pigeon again! It is so unreal…..
yeah I was thinking about cancelling it anyway
but it feels totally different to cancel and to be cancelled.

I’m like totally worthless -_-
