I forgot the name of this bottle of Riesling. The only thing I know is it's french wine. I don't particularly fancy French wine, I bought it becuz it's the only Riesling there and it seems not bad.
Recently, I can appreciate the smell and the look of a glass of one as well as the taste of it. I feel content just by looking at/smelling it. I hesitate to drink it cuz the smell is already like heaven. I guess it's the charm of a truely good wine. The Beringer Chenin Blanc I had (and unfortunately, still have) can not compare at all. 10 mins after open it, it became like industrial alcohol.

Riesling…

Riesling ㄟ
Port,

I made my new codes clean and pretty. I'm so proud of myself ^^
It's important to make your code readable for other people cuz you won't be the one maintaining it forever!
I'm saying this becuz my coworker doesn't usually make his code understandable and I am a person who even like to write notes in the code… (though I havent done programming for years until recently)

As you might have already guessed, yes I'm totally into Casablanca right now.
Yesterday I checked the DVD out from county library. I've already seen it once,
but I missed the ending last time. (Not my fault, the DVD was seriously scratched.)
Recently, my interest toward classic movie was aroused again, so I decided to watch
Casablanca again (and other classics).
The second viewing experience was very different from the first ( I suspect myself
didn't focus the first time I watch it…ai, i did that all the time.) This time, I have more
understanding of what it is talking about. (Especially because I've already know the
story, I can appreciate more of their acting, their expression.) And therefore, it
touched deeper within. Now, I dare not say I love
Mr. Deeds Goes to Town over
Casablanca, cuz Casablanca is really a subtle yet passionate, cynic yet ideal movie.
It's a beautiful story with memorable classic scenes.
[Casablanca]
Miscellaneous Notes:
◎Here's Looking at you, kid.
Needless to day how classic this line is. It pinpointed the three important moment of the film.
◎We will always have Paris.
I didn't feel anything the first time I watched it. But this time, I can feel the emotion
behind the words and what it implied. I knew what he's gonna say, and still a little bit
tear was squeezed out of my eyes.
We will always have Paris.
◎Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
I missed this line first time. Though someone told me how it ends, it still feels different
when I actually see it. The way he says it, and they faded out in the fog
I think it's rather a happy ending… :)

If I am to have a son, I'll nickname him Mike cuz almost every Mike I met is cute and adorable.
(Those who were named Mike, not those who named themselves Mike.) However,
becuz Mike(Michael) is such a common name, and I can't stand my son (if any) to have
a common name (like I do, unfortunately, No.1 name in 90s what the heck /_), so Mike
will be his nick ^^

The seat config is very strange — economy seats are 2 5 2,
most plane I took was 3 4 3 (Boeing 747-400), had I known it's like this,
I wouldn't mind taking a window seat (there's one advantage taking the window seat
that I can control the window. Sometimes some people are senseless, and keep the window
open when the sun shines directly in, and other people are trying to sleep…
but anyway Ms Lo helped me to get not bad seats. (Aisle seat of course, and hopefully there won't be big head block the TV)
I hope I'd meet interesting people on the plane ;)

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,
Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.
Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,
Perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea;
Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

It's interesting how people may be confident in front of one person and be totally the opposite
in front of the other. I, for example, can speak English well when talking to certain people, but talk
like one who's only learned English for a year (Ok, i'm exagerrating.) in front of another certain people,
such as my boss… Sometimes, I'd feel I'm like a total loser and am very disappointed with myself.
But now I realize that sometimes we can't be at our best in front of some people, or in some situation.
and therefore I can understand how someone can be so talented and humorous in someone's eyes
while I can't feel it at all. (I even doubt whether she can speak English well according the experiences
I had with her.)

This slipped from someone's mouth: internet technology is good and bad?
It's no big deal, and he's probably not thought thru it when the words came out.
I just can't stand people saying that, acting like they're some how suprior in mind.
Come on, technology is neither good nor bad. It's human itself you should be talking about.
and FYI, internet prospered because of porn. Whether you like it or not, you cant deny the fact.
(well, i knw you could be unaware of the fact.)

Our church is changing the name, which surprised me. However, after reading pastor's letter,
I kinda agree that it's a good idea. He talked about the reason why changing the name: it's
confusing. He said that some people told him they avoided the church at the begining because
they didn't think it's a “normal” church. Evangelical Free sounds like Free of Evangelical, and
which is kinda weird. When I first found this church, I too hesitated because the name doesn't
sound right, so I read thru the statement of the church's belief, which I was supposed to do anyway,
and make sure that it's not a yiduan. So I think it's nice to change the name for the sake if
non-believer/non-church member/people who're looking for a church.

I was just telling my coworkers that I have some snacks if I feel hungry in the afternoon (becuz I didn't have much food for lunch today).
I went back to my cube and got two (and I only have two in the office…I dont know why I got two…. -_-) to show them. While I was still
eating, one of them took one and opened it, and the other saw and took the other one instantly and started eating too. I was like, “Huh!?”
I took them here to show you guys, not to give them to you… It's not that I'm too stingy to share, but they're my only afternoon energy
source I just brought today!(When I found that I had no more left in the office yesterday, I was so sad and determined to remember to
bring more today…)
All I can think of(not even say) is…
“HUH!?”
and now I'm hungry.

Throw yourself in the environment.
It doesn't necessarily mean that you'll have to actually “go to the country” or something. You can create the environment yourself! When I was in high school, I listened to ICRT everyday. I turned it on as a background music/sound. At that time, I couldn't totally understand what they're talking about. I believe it'd helped me some way.
So now I'm listening to German news radio. Though I don't understand a single sentence, (well, I do recognize that it's German) I believe it'd help improve my German in some mysterious way.
