今天是 Dancing with the Stars season 2 2hr grand finale
所有的明星都回來了，加上第一季冠軍 Kelly，好個大團圓
整整兩個小時幾乎沒有冷場，表演很精彩，回顧很溫馨，對話很好笑。
真是個歡樂的 finale。

沒想到 Oscar 這麼快就要到了，下星期天傍晚五點，真是有夠尷尬的時間 /_\
我可以讓大老遠從東岸來找我玩的人待在家陪我看電視嗎?
我自己都會不好意思，但話說回來，這是Oscar啊!
前幾年也就罷了，這年的電影我幾乎都看過了…特別有感覺啊~~

anyways, 剛剛看到一段超可愛的 Oscar 廣告，
DH 裡面的 Tom 坐在沙發上跟兒子聊天，問他覺得哪部片哪個演員應該得獎
講到最佳女主角時，Tom說, “這就沒有疑問了吧!”
“對啊…” 兒子說，”Judy Dench in Mrs. Henderson Presents of course.”
Tom 緊張地東張西望，說 “這你還是不要講太大聲的好。“

這周末借了 DVD 回來重溫，花了兩天看完，除了發現原來 Anne Shirley 是好個 drama queen 之外，還是覺得很好看。Matthew 好好喔… 而 Gilbert 很… (L)。會想要再借來重看其實是前陣子要找 chun 去看 Spelling Bee，結果她本來還以為為什麼我有這種奇怪的嗜好想看 Spelling Bee 比賽，她就隨口問我”菊”怎麼拼，我還以為她也看過 Anne of the Green Gables，畢竟那也算是大部份(? 至少我認識的幾乎都看過)台灣人童年的一部份，沒想到她只是單純覺得這個字很難而已 XD

所以我就借回來，一方面是自己也好久沒看了，一方面也想拿給 chun 看 :p

可惜圖書館沒有 Anne of the Green Gables: teh Sequel，續集也蠻好看的。(還有 Continuing Story，但是我沒看過…)

連續三餐吃蛋糕
晚上一定要吃個什麼了不起的好料!!

不能再幫我喜歡的人/隊加油了… 都會輸 >< 怎麼搞的嘛... 星期二看完 short program 之後，我就好希望 Russia 的 Irina Slutskaya 拿金牌。雖然說 short program 她以些微的差距小落後 Sasha Cohen 一點，但 free style 又是新的開始。昨晚很奇怪，超多人摔，我第一次看到這麼多人都摔的大比賽。Irina 摔了一次，Sasha Cohen 摔兩次。但是 Sasha 還是贏了 Irina 拿到銀牌。我覺得很不爽，但也無可奈何。她們兩個摔完之後的氣勢真的有差。也許 Irina 志在金牌，摔那麼一下之後她知道不可能了，於是銅牌或銀牌對她來說沒有差別。而 Sasha 雖然一開始一分鐘內摔了兩次，她還是很漂亮地表演完。只能說，這就是人生啊... 還有就是在中間看到的 Ski Kumping，我很喜歡的 Dmitri Dashinski 也只拿到銀牌 :~ 然後星期三中午不小心看到的 Chelsea 對 Barcelona，我喜歡的 Chelsea 雖然先得分，最後還是輸了 :~ 啊啊啊~~~

今天，不會很痛。但是有夠沒力的。
喝了butterfinger的熱巧克力，完全不想動。
越到下午越累，連輕微的頭痛都出來了，
偏生今天還有 Dancing with the Stars決賽，以及女子figure skating 的final。
無論如何一定要看啊!

不過今天的 errand 要減掉一些，不然我會累死。
雖然不煮了還是得去買點食物，零食之類的。熱巧克力快喝光了，買些冷凍食品跟餅乾，啊還有湯!!

然後從 Scarlet Pimpernel 我又找起了 BBC 出的一系列文學 DVD，意外地發現一套 Jane Austen Collection，其中包括六部 BBC 在1971-1987年間製作的電影: Sense and Sensibility, Emma,Persuasion, Mansfield Park, Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey。其中並不會特別期待 S&S (’95 李安拍的大概算是 S&S 的經典)，Emma (’97 Kate Beckinsale 的算是經典, 不會以為我要說 ’96 Gwyneth Paltrow 那片吧, 她一點也不像 Emma 啊)，以及 P&P (’96 Colin Firth 的版本是唯一認可的 P&P)，倒是非常想看看這個版本的 Mansfield Park 拍的如何，因為… 雖然我很喜歡 Frances O’Connor，但不可諱言，’99 年那部 MP 根本慘不忍睹至極。MP 是我第二愛的 Austen 小說，當年期待了好久終於等到這部片出來，看完之後超級想哭，拼命阻止人家去看，生怕原本跟 Jane Austen 不熟的人看了之後對她產生奇怪的印象。Northanger Abbey 跟 Persuasion 也可以看看。

我也不知是怎麼開始的。啊，應該是因為這陣子心血來潮拿原文的 A Kiss Before Dying來看的緣故吧。四處搜尋 Stanley Ellin 的 The Specialty of the House，不論是謀殺專門店出的選出或英文原著都非常難找，太好看於是鮮少有人要把謀店的中譯脫手，太古舊於是英文的幾乎都絕版光了… amazon上是有些人在賣，但舊書還要天價我實在下不了手。於是從 Ira Levin，Stanley Ellin，我看起了謀店的推理擂台，又晃到臉譜討論區。看到冬陽還是誰說臉譜將在年中出新的 Keller，我又跑到 LB 的網站，明明就只有 Hit Man 跟 Hit List 兩本啊。不會又要搞 All Flowers are Dying 那套吧 (中譯本竟比英文原著早上市)，這也挺好笑的。因為 PTT 一整天都連不上，我終於想到還有 KKCity 一處可去晃晃，正好它的 Mystery 板沒有跟 PTT 連線，讓我又多了點新東西可讀讀… 終於要帶進主題了，興奮嗎?

在 Mystery 板上看到了saintseiya3提起世界推理小說選裡選了Baroness Orzcy的一個短篇，他說，

雖然我對「角落裡的老人」慕名已久，但是看到作者經歷，最驚訝的是：　「天啊，她是《紅花俠》的作者耶！」

跟我當初看到的反應一模一樣! Scarlet Pimpernel 與 Ivanhoe 並列我少年時代最愛的歷史/武俠(!?)小說，在大學時重看了非精簡版的Ivanhoe，記得了作者是 Sir Walter Scott，卻一直沒好好認識認識創造出如此魅力的Sir Percy的奧茲西女男爵，以致於在交大明明經過角落裡的老人好幾次卻始終沒把它拿起來看看。就這樣又錯過與 Orzcy 相認的機會。老實說我對她的Mystery in Dublin已經一點印象也沒，但 Sir Percy 仍一直是我的最愛之一 (想到都會臉紅呢! ) 紅花俠滿足了小女孩的浪漫情懷啊。

無奈的現實是，紅花俠能找到的中譯本就只有我手上(其實現在好像在別人手上><)東方出的那本，我真的要開始努力加快我閱讀英文的速度了! 為了我的愛書們... 等著我吧! 我會努力的。(先從近代的小說開始 ^^" 我之前試過 Sir Walter Scott 的Ivanhoe，Dorothy Sayers... 真是要了我的命。) 努力看電視之餘，也來努力看書吧!! 朝無障礙閱讀英文小說前進! (下一步就是無障礙閱讀德文了 XD)

因為是小眾，所以把我們緊緊地拉在一起。

今天為了 Figure Skating ladies short program 捨棄了 Boston Legal (有錄下來啦)
我從美國的 Emily Hughes 開始看起，非常有活力又可愛的女孩，然後又看了日本的 Shizuka Arakawa, Fumie Suguri, 義大利的 Carolina Kostner, Silvia Fantana, 俄羅斯的 Irina Slutskaya 及最後美國的 Sasha Cohen。

今天大概就屬 Sasha Cohen 最受矚目（以美國來說），潛力與實力一向被看好的她常在比賽中失誤，大家都很期待她在今天能有很好的表現。當念到她的名字時，我就覺得有點耳熟，當鏡頭帶到她，我更是覺得似曾相識。我猜是去年 World Chanpionship 比賽我有看到她的表演。今天她的表現可圈可點，以0.03之差暫時擊敗 Irina Slutskaya。嗯，期待星期四…. 啊～星期四 Dancing with the Star 也是 final 耶 ><

James Blunt 賣完了，Belle & Sebastian 也賣完了。

我的 2006 前半年，還有遺漏什麼嗎?

星期五回家，做了白酒蛤蜊麵，製造了難以置信的多的待洗碗盤鍋子。
邊吃邊看 Dancing with the Stars semi-final 的 result show，
又接著看 In Justice，連續看了兩集之後，我決定要開始跟這片。
看完 In Justice 後回到自己房間，寫了寫文章又覺坐立難安，
再次跑上樓打開電視，轉到 Sci-Fi 看已經開演一半的 Battlestar Galatica。
(Lee 蠻帥的啊，怎麼說他魅力不足呢?)
心滿意足地看完 Pegasus 的Cammandor 缺氧死掉，Lee 跟 Starbuck和好，
我回到房間開始看 Can’t Buy Me Love。

星期六是整個星期中唯一可以睡到中午的一天，但這星期六我們要去SF看Spelling Bee，
我超怕買不到當天的票，所以十一點就從床上跳起來打給 chun。
但是拖拖拉拉，我們到 SF 停好車也差不多快四點了，
還好正巧有保留給別人的票被取消，於是我們還買到不錯的位子呢！
聽說 Pier 39有鬱金香可以看，加上我好想再去吃Bubba Gump，
然後 Jo到現在都還沒去過 Fisherman’s Wharf，所以我們跳上 F Line前往Pier 39。
天氣陰陰的，我們唯一看到的一團鬱金香也被雨打的很憔悴，
不過還好 Bubba Gump 還是一樣好吃，一個 Dip 開胃，
主菜點了 “I’m Stuffed” Shrimp, Mahi Mahi 跟 Salmon。
吃飽時間也差不多了，我們等 F line 等了半天，到達戲院時正好快開始。
25th Annul Putnum County Spelling Bee 超好笑，雖然有1/4~1/3聽不懂 ~_~”
真是很充實的一天。 :D

星期天一早約十點起來去教會，結束後咬了顆 Krispy Kreme 就前往 Starbucks，
天氣還是有點涼，我可不希望像上次一樣喝 frappucino 喝到全身發抖逃出門，
我點了中杯的 Caramel Machiato，坐在沙發上看 A Kiss Before Dying。
好幾年前看過中文版之後愛上 Ira Levin，還到處推薦給別人看，
最近從圖書館借了英文版來，在這個風光明媚的下午悠閒地享受。
故事的細節很多都已經不記得了，因此讀起來還是非常的引人入勝，想一直讀下去。
但是約好三點半要看電影，所以三點匆匆跑回家，吃了點 Mahi Mahi，又跑出門。
我們看了 8 Below 跟 Good Night and Good Luck，
8 Below 還蠻好看的，在我預期之內，而晚安祝好運，還ok，
不小心在 Robert Downey Jr. 睡覺時也跟著一起閉眼睛，
不過說真的，有 Robert Downey Jr. 就值回票價了 (L)

看完電影後飢腸轆轆地，Outback 竟然要等半小時以上，
我們本來要去 Food Court 吃，經過 D&B 就跑進去探探情況。
長周末大概全世界的人都跑出來了，D&B 餐廳那邊連櫃台都沾不到邊，
不過我們在 Bar 旁邊找到了個位子，快快樂樂地吃起晚餐，
吃完了之後，雖然心中還在惦記著 Desperate Housewives，
很久沒打電動手頗癢的我們還是玩了一輪武士刀才走。
兩個多月沒玩，都生疏了。看來還得多練練。
回家之後看了 DH，比預期的好看，
緊接著又看了還好沒有隨著 s2e18走下坡的 GA s2e19。
看完電視之後回到房間繼續把 Can’t Buy Me Love 看完，
發現已經一點多了，心生不妙，趕快睡覺。

星期一是總統節，雖然不知道到底是啥東東，
不過我的原則一向是有假放，有商務艙坐，就電電別多問。
我七點多起床，準備準備，等chun來，開車到Jo家，等Susan來，四人前往Sonoma。
比預期地早到了 Sonoma，我們先跟 Sonoma Spa 確認時間，閒晃了一下，
十一點半 chun 跟 Susan 被帶去做 mud treatment，我跟Jo做 full massage。
我跟Jo十二點半先結束在鎮上晃晃，等她們兩個出來我們一起到Sunflower Cafe午餐。
三點我跟 Jo 回去做 Mud Treatment，換 susan 跟 chun 閒晃。
大約四點多在我們的哀求之下 Jo 終於首肯帶我們去 Napa Outlet :p
我在 Banana 買了件可愛的 top，在 Benetton 買了羊毛兔毛混紡的舒服毛衣。
在回來的路上我們跑到 Richmond 地茂館吃晚餐，吃完之後不知誰提議，
說都在這裡了就順便唱個歌吧，我們就跑到音樂隧道唱了三小時的歌 XD
快一點到家。

ps. 昨晚睡得超好，不知道是不是因為 massage的關係 :D

Two days ago I brought home a DVD “Can’t Buy Me Love” from library. It’s the kinda 80s campus teenager film. (Yeah yeah, I know I have a strange taste.) After a few minutes of the movie, I found the leading character looked extremely like our Dr. McDreamy, so I pressed pause right away and loggd on to imdb.com to find out.

And Ding-Dong, it was him.
To be honest, I actually admire myself quite very much. Afterall, though there’s still some resemblance, you know how teenager (well, he’s supposed to be one in Can’t Buy Me Love.) can change thru the years and become a totally different person. But I gotta say that Demspy does carry some traits of his for the past 20 years. The way he walks, the way he moves are all so very signature of him.

It’s was a nice, fun surprise anyway.

And the other one is that Mrs. McDreamy (so was Addison called in ABC poll) played Harlem Judd’s ex-wife in EYES. No wonder I thought I saw her somewhere. Hey, you heartbreaker.

A juciy one!

Just as I was thinking that s2e16 after Superbowl might actually attracted some people who weren’t Just regular viewers but the sequel s2e17 must have lost them right away, this episode turned out to be… fun. We all knew from the preview that Mr. Mark the mistress is gonna make an entrance to Seattle Grace, but boy, ain’t preview misleading? (I guess they like to do that nowadays since people are very well-educated by the media, and I’m ok with that. I’d rather be misled before watch the “real” thing than be “spoiled” by previews.) In this episode, 3 cases took about half of the show time and the other half were about their personal affairs. Each of the cases has its own to-the-lung and to-the-heart part. Though they may seem insignificant comparing to the complex love/relationship crisis’, they lightened a warm and tender air, nicely woven into the atomosphere. I liked some things Dr. “McSteamy” said, “He saw me in bed with her, he walked away. And all I did was talking to you and I was on the floor bleeding.” and “He’s in love with her and he doesn’t even bother to hide it.” and also what McDreamy replied to McSteamy’s “You dorgave her and you can’t forgive me?”, “I didn’t forgive her. But with you, I don’t have the obligation to try.” What a slap on her face, ya-haa. And I’m kinda sick of Izzie’s being horny all the time. Maybe it’s just whatthe plot needed, but please stop before it gets really… i don’t know… detestable? Sorry Izzie I really really like you but you gotta stop. Last, but definitely not the least, O’Malley’s revenge… oops, finally outburst. He went into Meredith’s room, stood in front of her, said,

I know I’m not a world reknowned surgeon and I know I’m not alot of things you’ve gone for in the past. But I would never leave you, I would never hurt you, and I will never stop loving you.

That was so beautiful, honest and touching, and believe it or not, my tears actually ran out… but at the moment Meredith started to take off his shirt, my tear instantly rolled back and I couldn’t help sighing… why do you have to turn a beautiful romantic moment into a total tragedy?

btw, Desperate Housewives this week (s2e15 Thank You So Much) is actually quite good. It’s fun to see Bree “losin’ it”, especially when she can do it gracefully and doesn’t lose a bit of her beauty.

還在預告期的時候就注意到這部drama, 原因之一是因為主角實在眼熟,
感覺超像 Related 中 Ginnie 的岳父。(結果其實是不同人啦 XD)

因為是在星期五晚上 (固定聚會日)，所以我也只是遺憾了一下，
但上星期在家不經意轉到了，沒想到比我想像的還好看 (本來只是覺得應該不錯)
今天再看，決定以後都要錄了。

現在很想睡覺，所以講不出什麼心得，忽然想到10點播 Battlestar Galatica @@
我要上去看了…

Saw this news on Yahoo!Kimo (I don’t usually read news on Yahoo!Kimo), saying that some hacker encountered poetic warming when trying to pirate the OS to non-Apple computers. The news was silly written, so I searched for English news and found the original “poem”.

It goes like this:

Ain’t it fun?

But really, I think they can do better than that.
